Member Feature: MeeToo

This month's feature is on one of our amazing members, MeeToo; a social enterprise with a mission to provide mental health at a global scale

MeeToo was co-founded by Kerstyn Comley and Suzi Godson in 2015, and currently has a team of ten, five of which can be found here at Health Foundry.

MeeToo is a free, safe, anonymous app where young people aged 11 to 25 can talk about difficult things and get peer support. It is a neutral space that allows young people to experiment with what it feels like to open up without standing out. All posts are moderated so there is no risk of bullying or unhelpful comments being seen. Think healthy social media with a directory of everything from support services to recommended reading and activities.

MeeToo Insights is our primary service which provides unique insights into mental health trends in different communities of users. This insight enables organisations to shape policy and provide targeted support on the issues that their young people are worrying about the most.

We’re not just a youth mental health app with 60,000 users including 40 schools across the UK, we're also a vehicle for corporate social responsibility. We have delivered projects on behalf of corporates such as Booking.com and Willmott Dixon, providing an easy way for them to have an impact.

Words: MeeToo

MeeToo would love to have Health Foundry members among their clients, so please get in touch with Michael if you’re interested in having an impact on youth wellbeing through collaboration or signposting.
